OverView

The performance reflects on the disappearance of communal spaces.

Playgrounds once found in elementary schools, small parks nestled

between housing complexes—places where people could exchange light

conversations and meet each other’s eyes are vanishing from our daily

lives. The work contemplates the rapid pace of urban change and reminds

the audience of the things we have lost—what we once took for granted,

and what we may now be taking away from one another.

Through scenes in which performers move alongside the audience and

invite their participation, [Invitation] becomes an interactive

performance that allows viewers to step directly into the work itself.

작품 [초대]는 사라져가는 공동체의 공간에 대해 이야기한다.

초등학교에 있던 놀이터, 주택단지 사이 공원과 같이 가벼운 대화를 건네고, 서로의

눈을 마주칠 수 있는 공간이 사라지고 있는 오늘을 반추한다.

빠르게 변화하는 도시의 속도를 따라 우리가 당연하게 누려왔던 것들이 사라지고 있는

현상과 이유, 그리고 우리가 서로에게서 무엇을 빼앗고 있는 지를 관객들에게 상기시킨다.

퍼포머가 관객과 함께 이동하며 관객의 참여를 이끌어내는 장면들을 통해

관객이 함께 이 작품의 안으로 들어올 수 있는 관객 참여형 작품이다.
